A peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary forum for the publication of research into disability and handicap experienced by people of all ages in both developed and developing societies. It is read by researchers, practitioners and administrators in such fields as rehabilitation medicine, nursing, social welfare, sociology, psychology, psychiatry and rehabilitation technology.
