Circulation: Cardiovascular Imaging publishes high-quality, patient-centric articles focusing on observational studies, clinical trials, and advances in applied (translational) research featuring innovative, multimodality approaches to diagnosis and risk stratifications of cardiovascular disease. Modalities covered include echocardiography, cardiac computed tomography, cardiac magnetic resonance imaging and spectroscopy, magnetic resonance angiography, cardiac positron emission tomography, noninvasive assessment of vascular and endothelial function, radionuclide imaging, molecular imaging, and others. In addition to original articles, robust review series feature clinically relevant, disease-based reviews on current applications of imaging. The series feature novel imaging technologies and their potential clinical role, reviews on methodological and analytical issues affecting imaging-based research, as well as translational aspects of molecularly targeted imaging research.
