This CD-ROM presents the physical principles of ultrasound in a dynamic and interactive format that enhances comprehension. A Primer in Ultrasound and Vascular Physics provides six hours of narrated presentations in PowerPoint format using an abundance of animations, images, and analogies to explain complicated concepts. The presentations follow the content outline of the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) examination on ultrasound physics and instrumentation and offer excellent preparation for the exam. There is also a self-tester on this CD-ROM with over 600 questions available. After each lesson, the student is asked to take a self-test before continuing.
