Pharmaceutical Programs or Services
Commercial Supplements
The publication of proceedings from satellite symposia or workshops, or of
collections of review articles, can be an ideal method of conveying essential
brand messages. LWW has many years' experience in rapidly producing
supplements to a high academic standard by our journal production staff.
Papers are accepted (subject to approval) for first-time publication and
produced to the same quality and format as our journals. We strive to publish
supplements within 4-5 months of receipt of manuscripts.

Updates
The Updates Series, published by LWW Healthcare, are quarterly, bimonthly, or
monthly single-sponsored publications associated with well-known LWW textbooks
edited by celebrated thought leaders. Each Update issue is an individual article
updating an important chapter topic from the original text or reporting
relevant information on a new subject. The Editors of the Updates are the same
Editors of the book and are all well-known and respected authorities in their
respective fields. The topics and authors are selected by the Editors, who
review the manuscripts prior to submission. Each issue, which contains 8 - 12
pages of editorial material, helps to keep physicians abreast of the most
current trends in their specialty. In addition, the Updates Series provides an
uncluttered advertising vehicle for the pharmaceutical sponsor-supplied 2 - 4
page advertisement which can be included in each issue. The Updates can contain
continuing education activities because of LWW's accreditation by the ACCME,
ACPE and ANCC.
