LWW offers two methods for requesting re-use permission for material published in LWW journals:
E-MAIL
We have found that many people requesting permissions would prefer to manage their requests through their individual, institutional, or corporate e-mail account. In response, LWW has developed procedures to facilitate e-mail requests. Please refer to the links below. The first link outlines the necessary information we will need to process your request. The second link is an example of how you should organize those elements in your e-mail.
E-mail your request to: journalpermissions@LWW.com
ONLINE
If you would prefer not to send your request by e-mail, please feel free to select the LWW Online Permission Form.
How long will it take to process my request?
The Permissions Group is aggressively searching for procedures that will allow us to better our turnaround time. At this time a standard, properly delivered request will take approximately 2 weeks.
Rush Service is available and will result in a 3-4 day turnaround for standard, properly delivered requests. A rush fee will be charged in addition to any permission fees.
Cancellation of permission requests must be received within 90 days from the date of invoice. Invoices can not be cancelled after 90 days.
Please note that completely following the instructions for requesting permission will allow us to better our turnaround time. We cannot guarantee that incomplete requests will be processed in a timely manner. It may be necessary to return incomplete requests for additional information. We appreciate your efforts to get all necessary information to us regarding your request.
