You will be sent a copy of either the current edition of the book or a copy of the proposal submitted by the author. Questions pertaining to that book or proposal will be sent as well. Your feedback will be used to determine the need of a new project or to provide suggestions for revising current editions.

Sometimes, reviews of portions of manuscript received from authors and contributors are requested for projects that LWW is planning to publish. Reviewing manuscript for LWW is strictly to assess the quality and/or accuracy of content. No copyediting or proofreading is necessary at this stage.
