The Journal's mission is to promote excellence and innovation in care through dissemination of quality information, research, education, and advocacy in this specialty. The Section on Women's Health Educators' mission is to promote and expand the physical therapist's role in women's health and wellness across the entire lifespan.
The Journal provides information primarily to physical therapists, physical therapy assistants, and physical therapy students. Other health care segments interested in this journal may include health care professionals from obstetrician/gynecologist centers, orthopedic centers, long-term care facilities, hospital-based outpatient facilities/clinics, ambulatory centers, health and wellness facilities, sport and human performance centers, and rehabilitation facilities.
