Philadelphia, PA (February 2, 2011) – Inspiring nurses to reach the pinnacle of their practice is the goal of the Nursing2011 Symposium: The Conference for Clinical Excellence, April 28 – May 1, 2011, at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, TN. The conference is sponsored by Lippincott Williams & Wilkins, publisher of Nursing2011, and part of Wolters Kluwer Health.
The symposium, one of the country’s most respected nursing conferences, is custom-designed to meet the professional needs of nurses in direct care positions as well as those seeking to hone their leadership skills. All courses are presented by the top experts in the industry.
The slate of sessions spans the most urgent and innovative topics nurses need to know in today’s health care environment. Courses include such areas as cardiovascular, trauma, pain management, diabetes, assessment skills, lab values, healthy work environments, and more. At the conference, attendees will also earn contact hours, network with colleagues, attend special events and meet with vendors and industry representatives in the exhibit hall.
“There have been rapid-fire changes in almost every practice area, so our goal is to hand nurses the tools and knowledge to provide better patient care and achieve professional growth,” said Nursing2011 Editor-in-Chief Linda Laskowski-Jones, RN, MS, ACNS-BC, CEN, FAWM. “We set a high bar for this year’s program and we know attendees will reap the benefits.”
