Philadelphia, PA (August 25, 2009) – Wolters Kluwer Health announced today that it has appointed Reid Sherline to lead the development of Lippincott Williams & Wilkins’ digital learning and reference solutions for medical and allied health professionals. Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (LWW) is a part of Wolters Kluwer Health, a leading provider of information and business intelligence for students, professionals, and institutions in medicine, nursing, allied health, and pharmacy.
Sherline brings to Wolters Kluwer Health over fifteen years of experience in developing digital product and learning solutions, and was most recently Senior Vice President of Digital Media for the education unit of Macmillan Publishing Inc. Under his leadership, Macmillan Publishing acquired, developed and launched more than 1,000 e-learning products in 16 disciplines, including the market-leading i>clicker classroom response system; StatsPortal, PsychPortal, BioPortal, and CompClass, turnkey course solutions for students and instructors, built on the ANGEL learning management system.

With a thorough understanding of customers, competition and overall market needs, Sherline will lead new initiatives for revenue growth and increased market share.
